As part of the development team at Banco Inter, I had the opportunity to be part of a project that made a big impact: Wealth Management, also known as WM around here. This internal system came to revolutionize how our consultants and bank managers interact with clients, providing personalized investment recommendations and a more tailored approach to customer service.

Taking on the Challenge

Being involved in the development of WM was quite a challenge! Working with ReactJS and TypeScript, we built a system based on Backend For Frontend (BFF) and microfrontends using Module Federation. This gave us incredible flexibility, allowing us to create customized solutions for each client.

A Power-Packed System of Features

WM is like a powerful toolbox. In addition to investment options, we have super-detailed reports and precise access settings with specific permissions. This gave us the chance to customize the experience for each client, delivering tailored solutions for specific needs.

Learning on the Go

This project was a real learning experience! I had the opportunity to work with various cool libraries and tools like React Hook Forms, zod, tailwindcss, styled components, webpack, husk, MSW, and Jest. Each of these was fundamental to the robustness and efficiency of the system. And the microfrontend architecture allowed us to integrate WM screens into other systems, further expanding our approach.

Contributing and Receiving Recognition

In addition to development, I participated in code reviews, GitLab pipeline adjustments, and rigorous version control. This participation was recognized by the team and even led to a promotion to the position of full-fledged developer. It's great to see that the effort and dedication paid off!

Personal Value and Professional Growth

Working on such a significant project at Banco Inter was an incredible experience. It was more than gaining technical skills; it was being part of something that really impacts the lives of clients. WM is not just a system; it's a tool that reflects Banco Inter's commitment to providing the best service possible.
